Penn State A Finalist for 2024 4-Star Wide Receiver Tyseer Denmark

Penn State’s success recruiting in the Philadelphia area over the last few seasons has been well documented.

Some of the higher ranked gets include 2023 4-star DE Jameial Lyons, 2022 4-star DE Ken Talley (although he transfered), 2022 4-star DE Keon Wylie and 4-star LB Abdul Carter.

The Nittany Lions could be adding another name to that list as a top talent has Penn State in his top five, with a decision in the upcoming weeks.

2024 4-star wide receiver Tyseer Denmark, from Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, tells NSN that he’ll be announcing his college decision on November 24, which is mother’s birthday.

The 5’11”, 180-pound wideout tells NSN that he’ll be deciding between Penn State, USC, Tennessee, Oregon and Ohio State. Teams that offered Denmark but that didn’t make his cut are Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Texas, Texas A&M, Cincinnati, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan State, Pitt, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

NSN asked Denmark, what has stood out to him about Penn State.

“I think Penn State just did a great job recruiting me,” said Denmark. “I know where I stand with them as far as being a top priority. The thought of playing at home interests me. I think it was a no brainer for them to be in my Top Five based off the relationship that we have established. From a football standpoint, they have everything that I’m looking for. They have a great following, great coaching staff.”

Denmark, who’s ranked by Rivals.com as one of the Top 120 juniors in the country, has made three prior unofficial visits to Penn State: October 22, 2022, April 18, 2022, and September 18, 2021.
