Move over, Christian Hackenberg.
Another No. 14 has taken over the No. 2 spot on Penn State’s all-time passing list.
With a 26 yard pass to Parker Washington in the third quarter of Penn State’s game against Auburn, Clifford is behind only Trace McSorley, who preceded him as Penn State’s starter.
And now, only Trace McSorley has more passing yards in Penn State history than Sean Clifford.

Clifford is also second behind McSorley in touchdown passes, and is 11 away from passing him on that list, too.
Clifford has taken a lot of abuse both on the field and online from Penn State fans, but today has been a great day for both parties.
Penn State leads Auburn, 31-6, with 1:07 left in the third quarter. Clifford is 12-17 with 159 yards, and also ran for a touchdown to complete Penn State’s first scoring drive.
