How to Watch: Penn State Football Week 3 at Auburn

Photo by Penn State Athletics: James Franklin

Penn State football is at Auburn for its most hyped non-conference road game in some time.

It’s only Penn State’s fourth overall meeting with Auburn, its second in the regular season and its first in Jordan-Hare Stadium. It’s also the first time Penn State Football will be on CBS since 2000.

Both teams come in 2-0. Auburn beat Mercer and San Jose State, and Penn State has a big conference road win over Purdue under its belt as well as a 46-10 demolition of Ohio at home.

The school’s had their first regular-season meeting last season. Before a White Out crowd at Beaver Stadium, Penn State won a tough football game, beating Auburn 28-20. Both teams ended up finishing with disappointing seasons. Penn State lost six of its last eight games to finish 7-6, and Auburn lost its last five to end 6-7.

Not much is expected of this year’s Auburn team.

After the disappointing 2021 campaign, the school experienced an offseason of turmoil that featured, among other things, veteran quarterback Bo Nix transferring to Oregon and questions about coach Bryan Harsin’s competence and future at the school.

Penn State is a 2.5-point road favorite according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

For Penn State fans who aren’t making the trip to Auburn, here’s how to watch and listen to the big game.
