Penn State 2023 MBB Target Jahnathan Lamothe to Commit This Afternoon

Jahnathan Lamothe, a Class of 2023 four-star combo guard out of St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland, will make his decision today at 3.

Lamothe has Penn State in his top four along with Georgetown, Maryland and UCF. Lamothe (6-foot-4, 195 pounds) has been a member of the Team Durant AAU squad for the past two seasons, and has been a key part of one of the best Class A teams in Maryland.

Lamothe averaged 13.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.1 steals for the Panthers, helping them to a 35-6 record.

Lamothe is a silky-smooth offensive talent that is capable of scoring and facilitating, has good court vision and has excellent shooting range stretching out to the three-point line. On defense, Lamothe has the size, speed and strength to stay with ball-handlers and force turnovers.

If Lamothe commits to Penn State, he will join Logan Imes and Braeden Shrewsberry in the 2023 recruiting class.
