Update (2:06 PM)— **Lyons is a 2023 safety from Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia. Penn State was the third school to offer him, doing so July 30. He’s a four-star recruit according to 247Sports’s site ratings and a three-star in its composite ratings.

Update (1:18 PM)— **Penn State catcher Matt Wood has been named Big Ten Player of the Week. The Pine Richland High School graduate have five hits, scored four runs and drove in two, helping the Lions take two of three from Maine in North Carolina.
