Former Penn State Kicker Vlad Hilling Tweets Support of Ukraine

This years Blue-White Game is scheduled to kickoff at 2.

Former Penn State kicker Vlad Hilling, who was born in the Ukraine, tweeted out his support for the nation this morning, as Russia’s invasion of the nation persists.

Hilling grew up living in an orphanage located in Kherson, which is south of Ukraine. He came to the United State’s in the early 2010s, and from there, excelled kicking at Hollidaysburg High School before coming to Penn State in 2018. He redshirted his freshman season and didn’t see any game action in 2019, ‘20 or 21, as kickers Jordan Stout and Jake Pinegar were ahead of him on the depth chart.

Hilling retired from football in January but is still involved with the program, working on the performance enhancement staff.
