Whatever next season brings, Rasheed Walker won’t be a part of it.
The 6-6, 325-pound offensive tackle from Waldorf, Maryland announced via Twitter Monday that he’s declaring for the 2022 NFL Draft.
“The last four years have been some of the best years of my life,” Walker wrote. “I met tons of great players and learned more about myself than ever.”
Walker’s performance earned him all-Big Ten honors in both 2020 and ‘21. Despite that, the offensive line play of he and fellow tackle Caeden Wallace drew criticism, particularly this past season.
“This has been a dream of mine since I can remember,” Walker wrote. “And I would like to thank you all for being a part of it.”
