Penn State CB Tariq Castro-Fields Accepts Reese’s Senior Bowl Invitation

A little more than 15 hours after the Reese’s Senior Bowl announced that Penn State’s Jahan Dotson had accepted his invitation, it revealed that another Nittany Lion senior will be making the early-2022 trip to Mobile, Alabama.

Cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields, who has been with the Nittany Lions since 2017, will join at least five of his teammates– Dotson, Jesse Luketa, Jaquan Brisker and Arnold Ebiketie– for the 2022 Reese’s Senior Bowl. Castro-Fields has contributed to the Nittany Lions in all five of his years, making BTN.com’s honorable-mention All-Freshman Team in 2017. He got his first start in the 2018 season and started 12 of Penn State’s 13 games as a junior in 2019, a season in which Penn State went 11-2 and beat Memphis in the Cotton Bowl.
