Penn State Loses Commitment From 2022 Three-Star Cornerback Jordan Allen

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Penn State, yesterday’s nonuple overtime loss to Illinois still fresh, and even the Lions’ recruiting class has taken a hit.

2022 three-star cornerback Jordan Allen from Lafayette Christian Academy in Lafayette, Louisiana de-commited from the Nittany Lions yesterday, according to 247Sports and Rivals. Allen has not released a statement on his decision.

Allen, who originally chose the Lions over schools like Miami, Georgia, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Arkansas, committed to PSU on July 17 and he appeared to be excited about PSU after attending the Auburn “White Out” game back in September.

According to 247Sports, Allen is the 458th-ranked recruit in the nation (38th safety and 20th recruit from Louisiana). Rivals rates him as the 32nd-ranked safety and the 23rd-ranked recruit from Louisiana.

With his de-commitment, Penn State’s 2022 recruiting class has fallen to fourth in the nation.
