Over the weekend head coach Micah Shrewsberry and his staff hosted four prospects for visits, two official and two unofficial.
The two official visitors, Demetrius Lilley and Kebba Nije, are both big men in the class of 2022. The two unofficial visitors, Jahnathan Lamothe and Justin Edwards, are both 2023 prospects.
Let’s take a look at each prospect that was on campus this weekend.
Demetrius Lilley
A 6-foot-10, 230-pound center from Ardmore, Pennsylvania, Lilley is ranked as the No. 38 center in the nation as well as a top-250 prospect according to the 247 Sports Composite.
Lilley attends Lower Merion High School, and holds offers from Penn State, Texas A&M, La Salle, Saint Joseph’s, East Carolina, and Bryant.
Kebba Nije
A 6-foot-8, 205-pound power forward/center, Nije attends prestigious basketball school La Lumiere in La Porte, Indiana and is a four-star prospect. He ranks as the No. 100 player in the nation, No. 16 center in the nation, and the No. 4 player in Indiana.
Nije holds offers from Butler, Kansas State, and Penn State, and has now visited all three of those schools.
Jahnathan Lamothe
Lamothe is a 6-foot-4, 180-pound combo guard from Baltimore, Maryland, who is ranked as the No. 50 overall prospect in the class of 2023.
Lamothe holds offers from Illinois, Ohio State, Maryland, Seton Hall, Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, and many more and has gone on several visits now.
Justin Edwards
Edwards is a 6-foot-7 small forward who is nationally known as one of the top-30 prospects in the nation according to 247 Sports’ Composite rankings.
The Philadelphia native holds offers from Virginia, Maryland, Ohio State, Syracuse, Auburn, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Georgetown, and many more.
