Penn State got some good news on the recruiting front today, not from a commitment, but rather a reaffirmation of a commitment that some people may have questioned in recent months.
Kaden Saunders (5-10, 172), a 4-star wide receiver from Westerville, Ohio, sent out this tweet today saying he is “107% locked in.”
Locked in!!! As one of the leaders of this class I want to help recruit more guys to keep building something special🤞🏽💙 LFG!! #WeAre pic.twitter.com/Atwh1A1ZXg

Saunders originally committed to Penn State on July 25. But he has continued to receive offers from major programs, including Alabama sending him an offer in February. He also received an offer from FCS-level Jackson State, which is coached by football legend Deion Sanders.
Saunders tweeted some frustration in February about how fans were criticizing his parents on social media. The exact details about why are unknown, but the recruiting wars can lead fans to say some pretty means things at times.
I don’t like how fans are coming for my parents about MY posts or what I say. That irritates me. My parents raised me the RIGHT WAY and I love them with all my heart so again, seeing fan’s come for them makes me feel some type of way. Just saying💯

Saunders is a blazing fast receiver who ran a 4.31-second 40-yard dash at a camp earlier this year. He is a big part of Penn State’s 2022 recruiting class, so having him reaffirm his commitment is big for the Lions.
