Former PSU tight end Zack Kuntz transferring to Old Dominion

Tight end Zack Kuntz entered the transfer portal on Feb. 17, and Sunday night he announced where he will continue his college football career.

Kuntz announced that he is transferring to Old Dominion, where former PSU offensive coordinator Ricky Rahne is the head coach.

From our story when Kuntz entered the transfer portal:

Kuntz was a 4-star recruit from Camp Hill High School in PA in 2018. He had a bunch of offers from power programs, including Alabama, Ohio State, LSU, Michigan, Oregon and Pitt, to name a few.

However, Kuntz made only three catches for 26 yards in three seasons with the Lions. He played in one game in 2018 and caught one pass for 8 yards. He played in all 13 games and had two catches for 18 yards in 2019. He played in seven games this past season but had no catches.

Penn State tight ends coach Tyler Bowen recently left for a job with the Jacksonville Jaguars and was replaced by Ty Howle.
