I’m 4-1-1 in college football after going 2-0 this week (BYU moneyline and Alabama -4.5).
Today marks the debut of my NFL picks, which I’ve been looking to start up but held off for a little bit.
Aaron Rodgers and the 4-0 Packers are -2 at Tom Brady and the 3-2 Buccaneers. The moneyline is Packers -134, which is my pick today.
Rodgers has been playing tremendously, with 13 TDs and no INTs while completing 70.5 percent. I love the way he’s playing, and you know he’d love to take down Tom Brady in a battle of all-time great QBs.
Brady is playing well, with 12 TDs and 4 INTs while completing 64.3 percent. He’s still clearly very good, but he’s not better than Rodgers right now.
The Buccaneers have been up and down, coming off a 20-19 loss to the Bears after struggling defensively in a 38-31 win over rookie Justin Herbert and the Chargers.
If Herbert can have a big day against the Bucs’ defense, it’s a given that Rogers will have a big day.
Pick: Packers moneyline -134
Prediction: Packers 30, Buccaneers 27
Season record (college): 4-1-1
