Penn State is a finalist for Class of 2021 Baldwin (Pa.) defensive tackle Dorien Ford, according to Nittany Sports Now partner site Pittsburgh Sports Now.
Ford, a three-star defensive tackle, will make his decision Thursday night at 7 p.m. following his team’s practice.
Ford (6-foot-4, 290 pounds) has racked up over 20 offers including ones from Pitt, Penn State, West Virginia, Arizona, Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa State, Maryland, Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Minnesota, Syracuse, Temple, Texas A&M, Central Florida and Virginia Tech.
Ford told Pittsburgh Sports Now that he will be deciding between Michigan, Penn State, Pitt and West Virginia. Michigan is the only one of those schools he’s never personally visited. Ford has made seven unofficial visits to Happy Valley and a number of stops to either Pitt practices or in person for games.
WPIAL area recruiter Terry Smith has led the recruitment of Ford for Penn State, who are looking to add their first defensive tackle recruit for this yearโs class.
