The next in a long line of Penn State edge rushers and linebackers is on his way to the National Football League.
Penn State star Dani Dennis-Sutton has been selected by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Dennis-Sutton cemented his Penn State legacy by playing in the Pinstripe Bowl against Clemson. The Nittany Lions defeated the Tigers 22-10 on the back of a dominant performance from Dennis-Sutton.
He sacked Cade Klubnik twice, including one for a loss of 22 yards, a Penn State bowl record.
Dennis-Sutton finished his Penn State career tied for fifth in program history in forced fumbles (seven). He also ranked sixth with 23.5 sacks in four seasons.
The 6-foot-5 linebacker turned defensive end had exactly 8.5 sacks and 42 tackles in each of the past two seasons.
He totaled 34.5 tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries, eight pass breakups, two interceptions, and 10 passes defended in 55 games, making 30 career starts.
In 2025, Dennis-Sutton also notched 12 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, three pass breakups, and three passes defended.
Dennis-Sutton follows Abdul Carter, Odafe Oweh, Micah Parsons, and others who have turned successful college careers into starting roles.
The 2026 NFL Draft from Pittsburgh concludes with the 4th-7th rounds on Saturday, April 25.
