Former Penn State quarterback, Beau Pribula, has decided to enter the transfer portal after one season with the Missouri Tigers, per Pete Nakos of On3 Sports.
In January 2022, the former Central York High School star enrolled at Penn State and then redshirted during his first year. For the 2023 and 2024 season, he served as Drew Allar’s backup before entering the transfer portal in December 2024, leaving State College before their playoff run.
Pribula then transferred to Missouri for the 2025 season, but his season was cut short after he suffered a dislocated ankle against Vanderbilt in October. Pribula threw for 11 touchdowns and ran for six for the (8-4) Tigers this season.
Now all eyes will be on Matt Campbell and his coaching staff to see if they want to bring back Pribula for his last, remaining year of eligibility.
There is definitely a tough decision to be made as redshirt freshman, Ethan Grunkemeyer, has filled in nicely after Allar’s season-ending injury. Grunkemeyer has led the Blue & White to a strong finish this season and to a bowl bid as they are preparing to play the Clemson Tigers in the Pinstripe Bowl on Saturday, December 27 in Yankee Stadium.
