NSN Postgame: The Penn State Coaching Search Just Got a Lot More Interesting

University Park— At this time two weeks ago, Terry Smith seemed to be a long shot to be elevated from interim Penn State head coach to full-time.

Now, it seems like a lot less of a long shot.

Penn State’s commanding 37-10 win Senior Night win over Nebraska inspired Beaver Stadium to chant Smith’s first name repeatedly.

But is this just a case of the moment taking over, or should Penn State seriously consider Smith to be the full-time guy?
