Penn State football’s path to an upset over No. 2 Indiana at Beaver Stadium just got even more difficult.
Per Pete Thamel of ESPN, Indiana will have Aiden Fisher back, and this was confirmed by the Big Ten’s availability report.
Fisher didn’t play in last week’s blowout win at Maryland, but he has been a key member of Indiana’s defense.
He’s third on the team in tackles with 47 (20 solo) and has 2.5 sacks. He played his best game of the season in Indiana’s biggest game, with was an upset win at then-No. 3 Oregon. Fisher had 13 total tackles and 1.5 sacks, helping the Hoosiers to a 30-20 triumph that, to this point, has been the signature moment of the Curt Cignetti era.
Indiana might have worse injury news in the offensive front.
Star receiver Elijah Sarratt (609 yards, 10 touchdowns, 45 receptions) is reported as questionable. The good news for Indiana is that it also has Omar Cooper Jr. (46 catches, 669 yards, eight touchdowns) and E.J. Williams Jr. (26 rec, 336 yards, five touchdowns).
