EAST LANSING, MI — Penn State looks to snap a six-game losing streak against Michigan State this afternoon, but the Nittany Lions enter the 3:30 p.m. kickoff with two key starters listed as questionable.
Cornerback AJ Harris is questionable for interim head coach Terry Smith. Harris hasn’t produced the season he hoped for in 2025; opposing quarterbacks have posted a 142.8 NFL passer rating when targeting him in coverage. That’s a sharp contrast to his strong 2024 campaign, when quarterbacks managed just a 72.8 rating.
Smith had also been hopeful that defensive end Chaz Coleman would return this week, but it has been determined that Coleman will not play. Coleman has been used primarily as a pass rusher on 94.5% of his snaps and owns the team’s second-highest PFF pass-rush grade at 91.4.
Offensive lineman Dominic Rulli, used mostly on special teams, is also listed as questionable.
