Penn State senior quarterback Drew Allar has accomplished plenty at Penn State.
During his first two seasons as a starter, Allar has compiled a 23-6 record, guiding the Nittany Lions to their first College Football Playoff appearance, and is one of two FBS quarterbacks since 1956 (Bryce Petty – Baylor) to have 800+ career pass attempts, 50+ touchdown passes and 10 or less interceptions.
Allar’s excellence on the field had him almost a certain lock to being a Day 1 draft choice in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Allar has stated there is more football he needs to play to aid in his development to get to a point he is NFL ready.
Through his development in the 2025 season, Allar will be compensated as one of the top quarterbacks in the nation.
According to On3 National Reporter Pete Nakos, sources have told him that Allar will earn more than $3 million in 2025.

Allar will be one of five FBS quarterbacks to make north of $3 million.
The other quarterbacks Nakos has heard that will make more than $3 million are Bryce Underwood (Michigan), Dylan Raiola (Nebraska), Carson Beck (Miami), and Darian Mensah (Duke).
On3 reports that 20 FBS quarterbacks will make north of $1 million this season.
Missing from Nakos’ report is Texas quarterback Arch Manning. It is believed Manning is the highest NIL earner in college football considering his deals with Panini and Red Bull.
Penn State kicks off the 2025 season on August 30 against Nevada in Beaver Stadium at 3:30 PM (Eastern).
