Penn State footballโ€™s top Class of 2027 commit is taken with another Big Ten school.

Over the weekend, Kemon Spell, Americaโ€™s top-ranked โ€˜27 RB, visited UCLA for Sundayโ€™s 7-on-7 tournament, playing for the California Power travel team.

UCLA isnโ€™t the only Big Ten program trying to poach Spell from Penn State.

Last month, Ohio State offered him.

But Spell told Nittany Sports Now in an exclusive that he has no plans of going anywhere.

โ€œOh, Iโ€™m like a thousand percent locked in,โ€ Spell said. โ€œWhen I was talking to Ohio State, they knew I was locked in with Penn State, and that I shut down my recruitment. And I let them know that I did that.โ€

With that said, this quote about UCLA is sure to open some eyes.

“It just took two days for them to get my heart and thatโ€™s what they got right now,โ€ he said.

Itโ€™s easy to see why Spell is so coveted.

In a scouting report for 247Sports, Andrew Ivins described him as โ€œa mix between a tank and a jackrabbit.โ€

โ€œWhich is an extremely difficult combination to tackle. A naturally low-to-the-ground runner with true workhorse capabilities as he constantly bounces off defenders or cuts around them to find extra yardage. Spent much of sophomore campaign deployed as a fullback in a Wing-T offense. Ran absolutely wild in Pennsylvaniaโ€™s WPIAL Class 4A playoffs with 280-yard and 274-yard rushing performances. Not a true burner, but can hit the gas when a crease opens up. Frequently thrashes forward at the first sign of contact and almost always seems to be falling forward. Tested reasonably well as a ninth grader at the National Combine in San Antonio and has impressed as a pass catcher on the offseason camp circuit. Fits the bill of a hard-nosed football player given the physicality he also flashes on defense while doubling as a cornerback. Must avoid setbacks, but projects as a potential impact player for a College Football Playoff contender that can move the chains while facing stacked boxes.โ€
