On the heels of Damari Simeon’s announcement Friday, the nation’s No. 7 overall defensive line recruit in the Class of 2026 per On3, Penn State will have additional interest with Malvern Prep’s (Malvern, PA) Jackson Ford will be making his decision.

Ford is a four-star EDGE rusher that is rated by On3 Industry rankings as the No. 7 rated prospect in the state of Pennsylvania and the No. 26 overall EDGE nationally.

Penn State has had defensive line coach Deion Barnes and cornerbacks coach Terry Smith on the recruitment of Ford.

It will be an all-Big Ten battle for Ford’s services as Penn State contends with Ohio State, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Ford made an official visit to Penn State on June 6, one of five overall visits he made. It was the most of any school Ford is pursuing.

“The first thing is what they can provide for me and my development,” Ford recapped his June 6 official visit.  “Another one is that the future of the program is very, very bright, with a lot of upside with the current players and also the players coming in. The community stands out too. From everyone who is currently at Penn State to the alumni who still contribute to the success of the program and the people in it.”

Since the Penn State official June 6, Ford officially visited Ohio State June 13 and Michigan on June 20.
