Penn State continues its onslaught on recruiting tight ends.
On Wednesday, four-star t athlete Pierce Petersohn announced his commitment to the Nittany Lions.

A 6-foot-5 athlete from Triton High School in Dodge Center, Minnesota, Petersohn is the first tight end in the class to commit to Penn State.
On3 dubs Petersohn as a four-star recruit in the class of 2026, while 247Sports rates him as a three-star.
Petersohn is the 11th-highest ranked recruit Penn State has received a commitment from. 247Sports ranks him as an 89 overall prospect, but a four-star recruit and third-best player in Minnesota on its composite ranking.
He chose Penn State over his home stateโs university (Minnesota) after announcing his final two on June 17.
Petersohn played quarterback as a junior and threw for 1,479 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also rushed for 382 yards and nine scores.
A three-sport athlete, Petersohn averaged 29 points and 13 rebounds per game in basketball and was the MVP of the Minnesota State Track Meet.
Petersohn went to Penn State on an official visit June 20. Penn State offered Petersohn on March 18 and was primarily recruited by tight ends coach Ty Howle.
Five-star Luke Reynolds showed good flashes of greatness as a freshman this season and incoming freshman Andrew Olesh (four-star) decommitted from Michigan to go to Penn State as the second-highest ranked recruit in PSUโs class.
Penn State owns the cycleโs 8th best recruiting class, according to 247Sports.
