Penn State Daily: Lasch Bash Weekend Came Early

Penn State’s annual Lasch Bash is usually held in late July.

This year, it was held in late June.

Update (10:16 a.m.)— **Cam Toomey visited Penn State this weekend. Toomey (2028) is a 6-foot-3, 240-pound defensive end from New York’s Saratoga Springs High School. Penn State offered him June 1, and he’s since picked up an offer from Syracuse.

Update (10:10 a.m.)— Isaiah Rogers (2027) was on campus this weekend. Rogers is a four-star RB from Springfield Central High School in Massachusetts. He also has offers from Boston College, Maryland, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Rutgers and Syracuse.

Update (9:06 a.m.)— **Penn State has extended an offer to Jordan Karhoff (2027), a four-star TE/DE from St. Francis DeSales High School in Columbus, Ohio. The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder has plenty of other offers, from places such as Arizona State, Auburn, Cincinnati, Duke, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Purdue, Syracuse, Tennessee, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Update (9:01 a.m.)— **Penn State football has extended an offer to Marcellus Young Casario (2027), a 6-foot-6, 260-pound ATH ?(primary DE) from Georgia’s Rabun Gap School.

Update (8:51 a.m.)— **Penn State has offered Sam “Sosa” Faniel (2027), a three-star tight end from Benedictine College Preparatory in Richmond, Virginia. The 6-foot-6, 215-pounder also has offers from schools such as Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Maryland, Michigan State, NC State and Virginia Tech.

Update (8:44 a.m.)— **Penn State football has extended an offer to Derick Henshaw (2026), a 6-foot-2, 180-pound receiver from Howard High School in Ellicott City, Maryland.

Update (8:41 a.m.)— Penn State basketball has has offered 6′-5″ combo guard, Xavier Skipworth, from The Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland.

Skipworth also has offers from Maryland, Marquette and Purdue.
