Penn State’s 2026 recruiting class could be adding another big addition.

On Monday, On3 Vice President Steve Wiltfong predicted the Nittany Lions to land four-star cornerback Dorian Barney. Wiltfong’s confidence level sits at 60% that Barney will commit to Penn State.

A 6-foot-1, 180-pound defensive back from Carrollton, Georgia, Barney is the No. 150 player in the country (247Sports). The site also dubs him with a 90 overall grade and 0.9356 composite ranking.

Barney visited Penn State on May 16

247Sports has yet to give a crystal ball outlook on Barney’s commitment, who ranks as the No. 15 corner in the class by its composite scale.

Barney visited Colorado on May 9 and is currently scheduled to visit Georgia Tech (May 30), Texas A&M (June 6), and Michigan (June 20).

Pitt, WVU, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, LSU, Miami, Michigan State, Ohio Ohio State, and others have offered Barney.

Penn State signed 16 recruits in the Class of 2025 and continues to add talent in the next high school recruiting class to bolster the program.
