Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter has set his final pre-Draft visit.
ESPNโs Adam Schefter reported Monday morning that Carterโs last visit before the Draft will be with the New England Patriots.
This is the last team amongst the top four picks that Carter hadnโt visited yet.
Heโs already met with the teams thar have the No. 1 (Titans), No. 2 (Browns) and No. 3 (Giants) picks. Carter has met with the Giants multiple times, and many feel that New York is the most likely destination for him. Thereโs a good chance the Titans draft Miami QB Cam Ward No. 1 overall, the the Browns seem likely to take reigning Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter.
So the Giants seem to be the favorite, and Carter fueled that speculation by tweeting a photo of the greatest Giant ever, Lawrence Taylor.
CARTER IN NEW ENGLAND?

If Carter somehow falls outside the top three picks, itโd seem crazy for the Patriots to pass on him. With New England already having a young QB in Drake Maye and this yearโs class not thought to be strong at the position, it make sense for New England to draft the best remaining talent available, which would be Carter if he falls to four.
Carter doesnโt plan on falling out of the top four.
NO ADDITIONAL MEETINGS
Schefter also tweeted that Carter would not be meeting with any teams outside of the top four. This seems to be a clear signal that Carter doesnโt plan on falling to five. Thereโs nothing out there that suggests that heโll fall that far.
The NFL Draft begins Thursday, April 24 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
