Penn State Wrestling Gets 4 No. 1s in NCAA Tournament

The brackets were released Wednesday evening and Penn State wrestling earned four top-seeds for next weekโ€™s NCAA Tournament in Philadelphia.

Luke Lilledahl (125), Tyler Kasak (157), Mitchell Mesenbrink (165), and Carter Starocci (184) all secured the No. 1 spot at their respective weights. Beau Bartlett (141) and Levi Haines (174) both got the No. 2 seed, while Shayne Van Ness (149) and Greg Kerkvliet (285) both took 3-seeds.

Josh Barr, who had to injury default out of the Big Ten Tournament, took the fourth seed at 197 pounds.

Penn State Wrestling Star Injured

Braeden Davis is the eighth seed at 133.

Other No. 1 seeds include Illinoisโ€™ Lucas Byrd (133), Nebraskaโ€™s Brock Hardy (141), Virginia Techโ€™s Caleb Henson (149), Missouriโ€™s Keegan Oโ€™Toole (174), Michiganโ€™s Jacob Cardenas (197), and Minnesotaโ€™s Gable Steveson (285).
