It’s another offseason of heartache for Penn State fans.
Penn State had its season end in rather devastating fashion Thursday night, falling to Notre Dame 27-24, in the Orange Bowl. The loss ends the Nittany Lions’ season just short of the ultimate goal.
The Nittany Lions blew an early 10-0 lead and a late interception from quarterback Drew Allar helped Notre Dame set up a game-winning 41-yard field goal by Fighting Irish kicker Mitch Jeter.
Penn State fans, alumni and all sort of folk took to social media to voice their opinions on Allar, head coach James Franklin and all kinds of topics.
I feel deeply for the Penn State community tonightโthe fans, coaches, and most of all, the players. I know that feeling, pouring every ounce of yourself into a program you love with all your heart. So proud to be a Penn Stater.
The beauty is in the struggle. Tomorrow, the sunโฆ

Franklin is gonna take the heat for this. He shouldnโt. AK called a solid game. Plays were there to be made. Drew didnโt make them. End of story.

Canโt believe it. Everything was right there for the taking. Why.

Fully, completely, and 100% on Drew Allar.

Turns out, James Franklin still canโt win a big game.
