Freshman Hudson Ward is listed as out and has appeared in six games this year.
Johnson — averaging 10.3 points and 4.5 rebounds — did not travel for the Nittany Lions’ game on Wednesday against No. 13 Illinois. Baldwin, meanwhile, played the first 15 minutes of that game but left with 4:42 remaining in the first half with an apparent back injury.ย Ace is the leading scorer for Penn State (13.9) and is second in the Big Ten in assists (8.0).
On Thursday, head coach Mike Rhoades said that he did not know if Baldwin or Johnson would be available for Sunday’s game.
“I don’t know that,” said Rhoades.
“When I’m done here, I’m going to meet with our trainer and our doc. One’s being evaluated as we’re speaking here, so, I do not know that. Their health and wellness is number one, so, when I know something, you guys will know it.”
Tipoff for Penn State-Oregon is set for 4 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center. PSU is a two-point underdog against the Ducks but hasn’t lost at the Bryce Jordan Center since last February.
