Ace Baldwin Jr. was listed as questionable ahead of Penn State’s game against No. 15 Oregon, but he will now be out for Sunday’s game.
Ace Baldwin is out of the starting lineup today. He is in sweats for the pregame warmups. https://t.co/OaKGooxUQc

Baldwin played the opening 15 minutes of Wednesday’s loss to No. 13 Illinois before leaving at the 4:42 mark with an apparent back injury.
On Thursday, head coach Mike Rhoades said that he did not know if Baldwin would be available for Sundayโs game. The fifth-year senior was meeting with team doctors and trainers Thursday morning but no updates to the extent of Baldwin’s injury were given.
โI donโt know that (if Baldwin would be available),โ said Rhoades.
โWhen Iโm done here, Iโm going to meet with our trainer and our doc. Oneโs being evaluated as weโre speaking here, so, I do not know that. Their (Puff Johnson’s and Baldwin’s) health and wellness is number one, so, when I know something, you guys will know it.โ
Ace Baldwin is averaging a team-high 13.9 points and is second in the Big Ten with 8.0 assists per game.
Tipoff for Penn State-Oregon is set for 4 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center. PSU is a 1.5-point underdog against the Ducks but hasnโt lost at the Bryce Jordan Center since last February.
