Goodman has been limited in practice in light of protocols but head coach Mike Rhoades has said Goodman is getting closer. Heading into this season, Goodman was the second-highest-rated recruit in Penn State history, per 247Sports’ composite.
Sophomore Eli Rice appeared in one game this year, but it was announced on Nov. 29 that he would miss the remainder of the season due to injury. Rice played seven minutes against Saint Francis and grabbed two rebounds in the win.
Tip-off for Penn State-Purdue is set 6:30 p.m. in the Bryce Jordan Center. The game will be aired on FS1 as well.
