As is the norm in June, plenty of football activity happening in State College on the weekends.
Penn State hosted another 7-on-7 tournament for high school players, hosted a skills camp, along with having their 3rd official visit weekend of the month.
Combined with that, the Penn State coaches are also busy evaluating potential prospects and, in some cases, extending offers to those players.
Here is some of the news that took place over the weekend surrounding the Nittany Lions football program.
*Yesterday, Terry Smith extended an offer to 2027 athlete Judah Lancaster from Tolleson, Arizona. The 6’4″, 200-pound Lancaster holds early offers from Arizona, Arizona State, California, Georgia, Minnesota, Texas A&M, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin.

*Penn State extends offer to James Carrington, one of the top-rated defensive linemen in the Class of 2026. Carrington (6’3″, 270-pounds) is from Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. Other offers to Carrington include Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oregon, Texas A&M, USC, Washington and Wisconsin. Rivals rates Carrington as the No. 25 overall player in the Class of 2025.

*Offer extended to 2026 wide receiver Jahsiear Rogers from Red Lion Christian Academy in Bear, Delaware. Rogers received the offer from head coach James Franklin. Penn State becomes the second Power Four program to offer Rodgers (Indiana).
