Penn State’s Class of 2025 is loaded with 4-star recruits and today the Nittany Lions received some possible good news in terms of future recruiting news.
2025 4-star lineman Rowan Byrne, who’s ranked as one of the Top 10 guards in the country, announced plans to visit Penn State.
The native of Iona Prep in New Rochelle, New York says that he will be making an official visit to Penn State on June 21-23.
Byrne (6’6″, 295-pounds) has also scheduled official visits to Michigan State, Clemson and Florida State. At this moment, the national recruiting experts believe that it’s a two-team race for Bryne, between Penn State and Florida State.
Other Power Four programs that have extended Bryne an offer includes Baylor, Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, NC State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Pitt, Rutgers, South Carolina, Stanford, Syracuse, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Bryne’s last visit to Penn State took place in April for a spring practice.
In their current Class of 2025, Penn State has commitments from 2 offensive linemen- Michael Troutman (Wayne, New Jersey) and Owen Aliciene (Avon, Connecticut).
My dad and I had a great time at practice today, thank you for having us!
