OSU kept control for the rest of the first half and led 41-29.

By the first media timeout of the second half, Ohio State led by 17.

Penn State continued to fight and only trailed by five at the under-eight media timeout.

But Ohio State retook the lead with 1:08 left on a putback by Felix Okpara. Penn State tied the game, and a 3 by Ace Baldwin with 30.9 seconds left made it Penn State 79, Ohio State 76.

With 22 seconds left, Hicks was fouled and hit one of two free throws.

But Ohio State missed a 3-pointer, and PSU’s Qudus Wahab rebounded it and was fouled.

Wahab made both free throws to make it 82-78

Bonner missed the “and-one” shot, and Clary got the rebound.
