COLLEGE PARK, MARYLAND— We won’t see many touchdowns like this one.
Penn State fans have been waiting all season for the “Beau Pribula package.”
The backup QB and York, Pennsylvania, native has been mentioned by coach James Franklin as a player whom the team would like to use in situations aside from the traditional backup QB mockup duty.
We hadn’t seen it yet through eight games, but we saw it in the first quarter today.
Prubila lined up as the QB, and in a tricp play, flipped to regular starter Drew Allar. Allar then narrowly avoided a sack and, while falling forward, found TE Theo Johnson for a touchdown to put Penn State by two scores.
Watch the wackiness here.
Wow, Drew Allar 🤩@PennStateFball extends the lead! 👏👏 pic.twitter.com/5bCA546MG2
