Penn State-Michigan to Feature Pregame Flyover

Beaver Stadium -- David Hague

It’s a spectacle that brings chills and excitement to football fans in stadiums across the country.

On Veterans Day Saturday, prior to No. 10 Penn State’s biggest test remaining this season, a pregame flyover will commence high above Beaver Stadium.

Penn State (8-1) host No. 3 Michigan (9-0) at noon, looking to keep Big Ten championship and College Football Playoff hopes alive.

Two F/A-18F Super Hornets will fly through State College and over Beaver Stadium prior to kickoff. The crew is based out of NAS Oceana, located in Virginia Beach.

The on-field pregame show begins at 11:30 a.m.

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh could be suspended at any moment and ESPN reported a decision could be made Friday regarding the program’s off-campus sign-stealing scandal. Michigan beat Penn State 41-17 last season and hosts Ohio State to close the year on Nov. 25.
