According to ESPN senior reporter Adam Rittenberg, Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka didn’t travel to Purdue and will miss Saturday’s game.

Egbuka was injured in the fourth quarter  along the in last Saturday’s 37-17 win over Maryland. Egbuka had three catches for 40 yards during the game mainly playing slot receiver for Ohio State.

Egkuba is Ohio State’s third leading receiver with 22 catches for 303 yards and three touchdowns.

OSU QB Kyle McCord has thrown for 1,375 yards with eight touchdowns and only one interception and has achieved a QBR of 86.6 good for sixth in the country.

While Egbuba is out, Xavier Johnson will try to fill the void for the fourth-ranked Buckeyes, and will wait and see if Egbuba is available with its showdown against Penn State next weekend.
