Marvin Harrison Jr, Kyle McCord Lead Ohio State past Penn State 20-12

Kyle McCord threw for 286 yards and a touchdown as Ohio State defeated Penn State 20-12 Saturday afternoon at Ohio Stadium.

After a three and out by Penn State, Ohio State went on an 11-play, 57-yard drive that featured a concluded 33-yard Jayden Fielding field goal to put Ohio State up 3-0.

Penn State answered with a field goal by Alex Felkins, highlighted on a drive that featured a 20-yard drive by Nicholas Singleton.

After an exchange of punts, the game was tied at three after the first quarter.

Ohio State went back on the Board when Miyan Williams scored on a two-yard touchdown run that culminated a 13 -13-play-62-yard drive that featured ten running plays.

On the drive, Penn State lost Chop Robinson to a leg injury.

Penn State’s answer on a 40-yard field goal by Felkins that took seven plays and 51 yards. The drive was highlighted by an Allar to Theo Johnson.

Ohio State led Penn State 10-6 at halftime.

In the third quarter, Jayden Feilding kicked a 37-yard field goal to cap off a nine-play, 71-yard drive that featured a 28-yard pass from Kyle McCord to Marvin Harrison Jr.

Later in the third quarter McCord with Harrison on an 18-yard touchdown that capped off an off a six play, 43-yard drive.

After Penn State turned the ball over on downs and a punt by Ohio State, Penn State made it a one-score game late in the fourth quarter when Allar connected with Kaden Saunders on an eight yard touchdown pass and the two-point conversion failed.

Penn State will face Indiana at Home next weekend, while Ohio State will travel to Wisconsin next weekend.
