Penn State Daily: Happy Gameday No. 4 of 2023!

The fourth gameday of Penn State football’s 2023 season has arrived. Iowa is in Happy Valley, and so are a lot of recruits.

Here are some notes to get you ready.

Update (3:40 p.m.)— **Penn State football has extended an offer to Matt Sieg (2026), a quarterback from Fort Cherry High School in the Pittsburgh area. This is Sieg’s first Division I offer.

Update (1:53 p.m.)— **Shae “Showtime” Terry will be at tonight’s game. Terry (2024) is a three-star safety, also from Maryland. He has offers from Boston College, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, East Carolina, James Madison, Liberty, Marshall, Pitt, Temple and Virginia Tech.

**Jaylen Harvey is on campus today. Harvey (2024), is a four-star EDGE from Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Penn State’s in his top five along with Florida, Maryland, Tennessee and USC. All three of 247Sports’ Crystal Ball projections have him committing to Penn State.

Update (1:28 p.m.)— 

**Rowan Byrne will be at Penn State for today’s White Out, he told Nittany Sports Now. Bryne is a 4-star ‘25 OT from New York’s Iona Prep. Penn State offered the 6-foot-6, 297-pounder in May. He also has offers from schools such as Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Pitt, Rutgers, Stanford, Syracuse, Temple, Texas A&M and Wisconsin.
