A top 2024 target for Penn State has made a change in his recruiting.
2024 4-star linebacker Jaylen Harvey (North Potomac, Maryland) was scheduled to make his much-anticipated decision on July 4th, but that is no longer happening. Harvey tweeted out Wednesday morning that his decision won’t take place on the 4th of July. No other details were given for the change.
I will no longer be committing on July 4th change of plans @RivalsFriedman

PSU fans have their eye on this considering they’ve the front-runner for this talented star from Maryland.
Back on June 19, Harvey announced his Top 5 of the Nittany Lions, USC, Tennessee, Florida and Maryland. In terms of official visits, Harvey has gone to Penn State (June 2), Florida (June 9), USC (June 16) and Maryland (June 23).
Harvey is a Rivals.com Top 200 player and is ranked as the No. 11 outside linebacker in the Class of 2024.
This appears to be a battle between Penn State and USC with James Franklin’s Nittany Lions being the front-runner.
