Penn State has landed in the top eight for 2024 offensive lineman Robby Martin (6-foot-5, 285 pounds). Martin lists himself as a four-star on his Twitter profile, but it’s not clear where that rating is from. On3, Rivals and 247Sports all currently list him as a three-star recruit while ESPN has him unrated.
Martin, a Huntington, West Virginia native, included Penn State alongside Georgia Tech, Miami (FL), North Carolina State, Tennessee, West Virginia and fellow Big Ten schools Maryland and Illinois. He was previously considering Appalachian State, Cincinnati, Duke, Virginia Tech and many others.

He currently only has an official visit scheduled with NC State for June 16 and hasn’t taken any previously, making them the clear front runner for his services. That being said, On3 lists the front runner as West Virginia with Penn State getting a 9.4% chance to land him, the fourth highest odds.
He’s the No. 1 offensive lineman in the state of West Virginia on each of the major recruiting outlets. He’s also a state champion wrestler, proving himself to be a well-rounded athlete.
