Michigan State starting cornerback Charles Brantley has withdrawn his name from the transfer portal today after entering it on Saturday. It appears he only received offers from Colorado and Oklahoma after entering the portal.

Brantley started 11 games for Michigan State last season. During last season, he registered 48 tackles and had seven pass deflections, two tackles-for-loss, a sack and an interception. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

Longtime Ohio State public address announcer Bob Kennedy passed away at age 59. Kennedy was the PA announcer for Ohio State’s football team for 20 years. He also handled those duties full time for eight more of their sports and two more as a part time.
