Penn State head coach James Franklin remains on the hunt in attempting to continue to bolster the Nittany Lions defense.
On Saturday afternoon, defensive end De’Andre Cook announced he had received an official offer from Franklin and the Nittany Lions via his Twitter account.

Cook, a member of the Class of 2024 at Friendship Collegiate Academy in Washington, D.C., is a three-star prospect according to On3, 247Sports and Rivals.
The 6-foot-4, 260-pounder currently holds 30 Division I offers according to his social media, including the likes of Alabama, Michigan State, Southern California, Pittsburgh and West Virginia, along with Penn State.
Cook earned a DCSAA Class AA First Team All-State selection this past fall after helping lead the Knights to a 9-5 record in 2022.
