North Hills (Pittsburgh) forward Royce Parham is one of the biggest names in Pennsylvania high school basketball.
The four-star forward, who just finished up his junior year, has now narrowed his recruitment. He’s trimmed his list to his final four schools. On Friday, On3’s Joe Tipton announced that Parham is down to Penn State, Marquette, Pitt, and Xavier.
Parham took an official visit to Penn State in October 2022 and is a Nittany Lion legacy. His mother, Kimberly, is the Nittany Lions’ all-time leading shot blocker in women’s hoops. Over the past two years, he picked up offers from Pittsburgh, TCU, Wisconsin, Xavier, VCU, George Mason, and others, but has now narrowed his list down to his top four.
In addition to the former PSU staff, Pitt head coach Jeff Capel, Marquette’s Shaka Smart, and Xavier’s Sean Miller have all had their eye on Parham for years.
Parham stands at 6-foot-8 and plays the forward position. He ranks as the No. 69 player in the class of 2024 according to the 247 Sports Composite rankings.
