Penn State men’s basketball had a chance for a big win Tuesday night in Madison and fell short, losing 63-60 to Wisconsin.
The game also featured controversy.
With less than a minute to go, Penn State had the ball, trailing 61-60. The team’s best player, Jalen Pickett, drove to the basket and got called for a controversial charge.

Ball didn’t go in, so I blew that part of it. Still, should have been no call, with Pickett in position for offensive rebound and go-ahead putback.

Wisconsin beats Penn State, 63-60.
Feel like a broken record in saying that Penn State needs to win these types of games to take the next step.
Not writing this team off by any stretch, but that’s the bottom line. Frustrating loss at a place where Penn State has never won.
