It’s been a wild past 24+ hours for Micah Parsons.
The former Penn State and current Dallas Cowboys linebacker was named a AP first-team All-Pro Friday.
He became a father for the second time Saturday, Parsons announced via Twitter.

Parsons’s oldest child, son Malcom, is going to be five in May. Malcom has achieved a degree of fame thanks to his dad, getting attention for appearing with his Micah at the NFL Draft in the spring of 2021 and at last February’s NFL Awards Show.
Now, Parsons is a girl dad.
Parsons tweeted that the baby is 7.1 ounces. He didn’t revel his new daughter’s first or middle name or any additional information.
But what we do know is that the now-two-time dad is one of the NFL’s best players, and has been since his rookie season in 2021. As a rookie, Parsons was nominated for Defensive Player of the Year.
Before tonight's draft, new Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons and his almost 3-year old son Malcolm were interviewed on the red carpet.

This season, No. 11 was the central part of a Dallas defense that was sixth in the league in points allowed, eighth in the league in pass defense and fourth in the league in team sacks. The Cowboys posted a 12-5 record and are in the playoffs as a Wild Card. Parsons is also one of the top contenders for NFL Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight season.
A five-star recruit from Harrisburg, Parsons only played two seasons at Penn State, but made the most of his time, being named freshman All-American in 2018 and consensus all-American in 2019. He left Penn State after that 2019 season, choosing to focus on the NFL Draft amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Dallas then selected Parsons with the 12th overall pick in the 2021 draft.
Next week will have a lot going on for Parsons as well. The Cowboys are at Tampa Bay Monday night, playing the Buccaneers in the Wildcard Round.
