Penn State is in the running along with Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Miami, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and USC. Gage (5-foot-11, 200 pounds) is the No. 22 player in Florida, the No. 12. running back, and the No. 140 player nationally according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Penn State extended an offer to Gage back in December 2020 as the first school to extend an offer to Gage.
According to his stats on Max Preps he had 123 career carries for 1243 yards (10.1 yards) per carry and 18 touchdowns, as he previously played for the IMG Academy before transferring to Wharton.
Scouts see Gage as a runner with great balance and a strong core. He can play with physicality and can run and evade tacklers in close quarters because of his effective spin move. He has one of the best field vision for a back in the 2024 recruiting cycle. Gage still needs to progress on things such as pass protection.

Penn State would like to add Gage to its 2024 recruiting class that only has Cooper Cousins, an offensive tackle out of McDowell High School in Erie, Pennsylvania.
