**Penn State football has extended an offer to 2024 running back Duke Watson from Mary Persons High School in Forsyth, Georgia. Watson (6’1″, 180-pounds also holds an offer from Kansas, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Charlotte, Marshall, Memphis, Georgia State and East Carolina.

**Penn State football has extended an offer to 2025 offensive lineman Avery Gach from Groves High School in Franklin, Michigan. Gach (6’5″, 265-pounds) holds an impressive list of early offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Boston College, Toledo and Central Michigan.
Birmingham Groves 2025 OT/DE Avery Gach (#74) was physical and played great all night in their tough loss to Oxford in week 2.

**Kevin Heywood will be back at Penn State this weekend. Heywood (6-foot-7, 290 pounds) is a four-star Class of 2024 offensive lineman from Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster, Pennsylvania. All three of 247Sports’ crystal ball projections have him committing to Penn State.

**Jay Wright will be at Beaver Stadium Saturday. Wright (6-feet, 230 pounds) is a linebacker at Lackawannna Community College, which is where standout Penn State safeties Jaquan Brisker and Ji’Ayir Brown played, as well as offensive lineman JB Nelson. Brisker is currently starting for the Chicago Bears. Brown and Nelson still play for Penn State.
