No. 8 Penn State lost to Minnesota No. 1 Minnesota, 3-1, on the ice Friday night.
But Penn State’s Chase McLane had the highlight of the night.
With a little less than eight minutes left in the game, McLane hit Minnesota’s Logan Cooley.
The hit was strong enough to shatter the glass.
Luckily, it doesn’t appear that the fans seated behind the glass suffered any major injuries.
Penn State next plays Michigan State Friday night at 7 in Pegula Ice Arena.

Looks like everyone is okay thankfully, maybe just a minor cut, they are being tended to and walking up the stairs under their own power. https://t.co/CdL3mXnmud
