Penn State is in the running, along with Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee, and Texas. Burnette, who is 6-foot-1, 210-pounds, is the number six player in Alabama, the number nine running back, and the No. 138 overall prospect in the 2024 recruiting class, according to 247Sports composite rankings.
Burnette has not visited Penn State yet; however, he made an unofficial visit for Auburn’s home game against Penn State, which Penn State won 41-12 back on Sept. 17., which contributed to Penn State remaining high on his list.
Burnette through ten games this season rushed for 1,428 yards and 16 touchdowns on 172 carries. In his sophomore season, he recorded a combined 2,281 yards and 12 total touchdowns in 15 games.

Burnette is a big-framed running back who is a one-cut, hit-the-hole type runner, and that is always ideal for a Big Ten running back. He is very strong and doesn’t shy away from contact with defenders.
He displays his strength by squatting 550 pounds in link below via Twitter.
